In an effort to enhance the knowledge and skills of healthcare employees, particularly those facing challenges in accessing crucial literature, the concept of an E-Library has been proposed. Healthcare professionals, especially medical officers residing in remote areas, often encounter difficulties in obtaining books, guidelines, circulars, and other essential resources. To address this gap, Commissioner, Health Services and M. D. (NHM) and Director Health Services, Mumbai has suggested the creation of an E-Library.
State Health Systems Resource Centre (SHSRC) Pune has created E-Library with support by State Institute of Health and Family Welfare (SIHFW) Nagpur. This initiative aims to provide easy access to a wealth of information for all healthcare professionals within the Public Health Department. The E-Library will serve as a comprehensive repository of medical literature, guidelines, training modules, and various other relevant documents.

    How to use

One of the standout features of the E-Library is its user-friendly interface. Healthcare professionals can easily navigate through the various categories and subcategories. By clicking on any book or document title, users can open the resource instantly, allowing them to read, download, or print as needed. This streamlined access ensures that healthcare workers can quickly find the information they require, facilitating timely decision-making and improving overall healthcare delivery.

    Structure of the E-Library

The healthcare-related literature within the E-Library is organized into 37 key components, encompassing a wide array of topics ranging from legislative acts to operational guidelines and training materials. This structured approach ensures that healthcare professionals can efficiently navigate through the vast resources available
